W&M Construction Presents $10,000 to "Terry's Dream"

November 11, 2003

W&M Construction's fifth annual Charity Golf Classic raised $10,000 to benefit Terry's Dream, a cause started by Terry Brown, a senior broker at Cushman & Wakefield's Stamford office who lost his life to cancer on the weekend of November 8th, 2003. The money will be used to build a new playground for the Children's Psychiatric Inpatient Service (CPIS) at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital.

Thomas P. Durels (center), W&M Construction's president, gives the contribution check to Dr. Andres Martin, director of the CPIS. The presentation took place in the lobby of W&M Properties' Metro Center in Stamford, where they were joined by Michael Gordon, director of business development for Cushman & Wakefield's offices in Stamford.

Construction of the playground has already begun, and the donations received through W&M Construction's Charity Golf Classic will ensure its timely conclusion, says Mr. Durels.
