W&M Construction Hired for Five Projects In New York City and Fairfield County, Including One in Chrysler Building

NEW YORK CITY -- W&M Construction has been awarded contracts for three office projects in New York City (including one in the Chrysler Building), and two in Fairfield County, Conn., reports Thomas P. Durels, president of the firm.
The projects in New York City include:
- VIAG North America, a German packaging and chemical conglomerate, 405 Lexington Avenue (Chrysler Building). Architect: The Phillips Group.
- The Brazilian Consulate, 1185 Avenue of the Americas. Architect: A.R. Bacon Architecture.
- Special Counsel, a legal staffing firm, 360 West 31st Street. Architect: The Switzer Group, Inc.
The two Fairfield County projects are:
- Dymo CoStar Corp., manufacturers of label-makers, 599 West Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, Conn. Architect: R.S. Granoff Architects.
- US Tobacco, Sound Shore Drive, Cos Cob, Conn. Architect: Weber Associates.
